Decolonial Feminisms in the Americas

Introduction to Indigenous, Black, and Latinx feminisms in the Americas and their intersections with decolonial theories and movements. Students will read Leslie Marmon Silko’s novel Almanac of the Dead (1991) alongside selections of critical theory and decolonial feminist studies to explore relationships between literature, society, and processes of identification.
