André Brock to speak on “The Illumination of Blackness: Afro-optimism and Digital Cultures”

Also, for grad students only, Dr. Brock will be running a workshop on on Friday, May 6th on Critical Technocultural Discourse Analysis (CTDA): a multimodal analytic technique he developed for the investigation of internet and digital phenomena, artifacts, and culture. The CTDA Graduate Student Workshop is open to all graduate students at the University of Oregon and lunch will be provided.
