Prof. Kenneth Calhoon gives talk on Precious Blood
On October 30, Professor Kenneth Calhoon delivered his talk, “Precious Blood: Anemia and Melancholy in Murnau’s Nosferatu and Stoker’s Dracula” as part of a colloquium for the Honors Program at Susquehanna University. The talk, which Prof. Calhoon recorded on video for presentation via Zoom, was drawn from material in his newest monograph, The Long Century’s Long Shadow: Weimar Cinema and the Romantic Modern.
The book is forthcoming from University of Toronto Press, 2021. We look forward to celebrating its release!
