Fall Nomad Speaker Event
Tuesday (November 17), at 5:30 pm, the Department of Comparative Literature hosted a speaker event—part of this year’s Nomad mentorship program, the theme of which is Threshold.
In keeping with our practice of the last couple of years, a faculty member and a graduate student will each give a 20-minute presentation. Our speakers are:
(1) Professor Leah Middlebrook, “Showing What is Not Seen and Saying What is Not Said in Don Quixote”
(2) Mona Tougas, “Threshold of Justice: Langston Hughes’s Scottsboro Play between Russian and English”
The event, which should last an hour, is to be held in 110 Willamette.
