Elizabeth Howard

On October 19th Comparative Literature doctoral candidate Elizabeth Howard successfully defended her dissertation “The Singing Bone: Collective Creativity and the Creation of a Queer Imaginary” (Professor Dianne Dugaw, diretor). Elizabeth has been appointed Instructor of Swedish in the Department of German and Scandinavian for Academic Year 2020-2021.

Howard is author of “Queer Transformations and Transgressive Bodies in the Fairy Tales of Marie-Catherine d’Aulnoy,” forthcoming in Marvels & Tales: Journal of Fairy-Tale Studies 2021 (35.2).
