Spring Dissertation Defenses in COLT!
Join us this month for three exciting dissertation defenses!
On Wednesday, May 20, at 2 p.m., Tera Reid-Olds will present and defend, ““The Cross-Currents of Exilic Storytelling: Multilingual Memory and the Maritime Shift” (directed by Michael Allan).
On Thursday, May 28, at noon, Iida Pöllänen will present and defend, “Transnational Peripheries: Narratives of Countryside, Migration, and Community in American and Nordic Modernisms” (directed by Mark Whalan).
On Friday, May 29, at 4 p.m., Palita Chunsaengchan will present and defend, “Competitive Aesthetic Regimes: Intermedial Translations and Early Thai Cinema (1880-1942)” (directed by Sangita Gopal).
