Baumeister awarded Oregon Humanities Center Fellowship

Anna-Lisa Baumeister has been awarded an Oregon Humanities Center Graduate Research Support Fellowship for Fall 2017. The award will assist her in the writing of her dissertation, which is titled Poetological Ecologies, Ecological Revolutions (1765-1785). Anna is also the recipient of the Comparative Literature Journal Scholarship for summer 2017. This award will enable her to conduct research on Herder’s correspondence with his fianceé Karoline Flachsland at the Berlin’s Staatsbibliothek.
