Davide Stimilli is Associate Professor of German and Comparative Literature at Colorado University, Boulder. He has also held positions in Italian and Comparative Literary Studies at Northwestern University and in Comparative Literature at the University of Puerto Rico. He has written extensively on Franz Kafka and Aby Warburg. He is author of The Face of Immortality: Physiognomy and Criticism, as well as Fisionomia di Kafka. He has edited a number of collections on Aby Warburg and is currently completing a monograph on Kafka and Orson Welles.
